waveform with a modulation factor of 0.5. The modulating signal is a
cosine wave.

Descriptions
k0 is the frequency of the cosine wave that is used to modulate a sine
wave of frequency k1. To assure that the phases match when this
waveform is iterated, the carrier frequency times the modulating
signal period is set to be an integer. The modulation index is given
by k2/k0.
