Helpful Hints

Follow these helpful hints to make probing easier and noise free.

Low-inductance Grounding

Placing a ground plane on top of the IC package being probed can

minimize ground lead length and inductance. See Figure 8.

Attach a small piece of c opper clad wire on top of the IC package

and connect it to the IC package ground connection. Use the

low-inductance ground pogo pin or the c ustomizable ground lead to

keep the ground lead length as short as possible.
